My Experience

I’ve spent more than a decade as a reporter, editor and copy editor. I’ve written, edited and developed strategies for news and advice content around home energy, personal finance, housing and economics for national publications. I’ve worked as a statehouse reporter, covering state government and political issues including health, human services and drug policy. I’ve been a newspaper reporter, covering everything from city council meetings and crime scenes to agricultural issues.

My Interests

I’m interested in how broader economic and cultural trends affect individuals, whether that’s rising interest rates, a changing energy landscape or the decline of the family dairy farm. My goal is to tell those stories in the form of actionable advice and relatable news and features.
